The General Employees' Retirement System of the city of Pompano Beach was
originally created by the City Commission to provide retirement
benefits to full time general employees of the City, as
specified in Ordinance §34.010-§34.040
of the City Code of Ordinances. The Retirement System is
administered by the Board of Trustees in accordance with the
provisions of the Ordinance.
